Welcome to Vintage Cyclery of Pasadena, California. Founded by vintage bicycle legend, Steven Thomas. You will find some of the finest and rarest vintage bicycles for sale and available for prop rental. These bikes are excellent for store front attractions and museum shows.

We are currently negotiating with bicycle museums and private collectors for a possible sale of the entire collection.

Steven Thomas has been collecting bicycles for over 30 years and lives with more than 60 vintage bikes in Pasadena. Thomas describes his collection as "functional art"; he restores the bicycles mechanically so they are fully operational. He is not a purist and says, "It's rare to find a bicycle that is 100 percent historically correct."

The photo below was in The Smithsonian Magazine. Steven has appeared in numerous articles and on a variety of programs about bicycles and bicycle collecting. His bicycles have appeared in numerous ads, movies and television programs.

Steven Thomas' collection includes (clockwise from top): a Huffy Radio Bike from about 1955 or '56 with a tube-powered AM radio in the tank assembly; a Monark Silver King built in the late 1940s of aluminum, chrome and stainless steel; a red Sherrell from about 1979 with a one-piece fiberglass body; a Bowden Spacelander built in 1960 with a two-piece fiberglass body; a 1939 Shelby Speedline Airflo lady's with a pedestal radio powered by a tank battery; an Elgin Twinbar 1940 with a pedestal speedometer mounted on the handlebar; a J.C. Higgins Deluxe (center) built about 1950-52 by Sears, Roebuck.
